You must read and agree to the ZiaLink Online Policy
Our policies are few, but important. Please read the following information completely. Contact us if you need clarification on any topic. Our mission is to provide fast, easy to use access to the Internet for a reasonable price. We offer dial-up accounts as well as dedicated connections.

Disclaimer
Genesys Computer Sales, Bernard Schaer, and Zialink Internet will make every effort to ensure that our dial-up operations are functional at all times. However, due to the architectural design of Internet access in New Mexico, and the numerous parties involved in maintaining it, we cannot be held liable in the event that service is degraded or interrupted regardless of the reason. Consequently, we will not compensate customers for down time or loss of business. As a private partnership, we reserve the right to refuse or to terminate service to any individual or organization at any time at our sole discretion.

Privacy
We believe we have an obligation to protect the privacy of our subscribers. Subsequently, the only information maintained on our Authentication Server is the username, the subscriber's actual name, a code for the dial-up area and the encrypted password. The information can only be accessed via a dial-up connection or an approved network. It is not available to the Internet at large. Our customer database will be kept strictly confidential and will never be provided to anyone, without your express authorization.

Technical Support
Technical support is available by calling 505.454.0145 or by e-mailing support@zialink.com.
Our technical support is trained to handle basic initial installation and connectivity problems. If you call for support, please make sure that your computer is turned on, and that the telephone is near the computer so that we can check review your system configuration. If you would rather not fuss with more complicated issues, please bring in your system (no cables or peripherals required), for us to examine. An Internet tune-up is $20.

Use of our service
Use of our services are bound to legal operations only. Anyone who uses our Internet access to distribute illegal materials, such as weapons, child pornography and mass mailings (SPAM) may have their service immediately terminated. We do not claim to control or police content on the Internet, and we are not in a position to judge if a business offering on a subscriber's site is legitimate or constitutes a scam. We will, however, abide by all laws governing our operation to preserve the integrity of our service Hence, if illegal activities come to our attention, we will take action.

Sign-up
Customers are required to sign and date our Customer Agreement Form. Our $10 sign-up fee covers the administrative tasks of account creation on our Server and in our accounting program, as well as providing instructional materials and initial tech support. The fee is nonrefundable. The access charges for the calendar month in which a customer signs up are billed from the time of sign-up to 30 days from that time. If a customer cancels an account, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month when written notice is received from the customer.

Billing
Our billing is done on a 30-day basis starting from the sign-up date. The process is automated to accommodate the large number of customers. Everyone is charged a monthly access fee for the month at hand. Other services such as commercial Web Sites and phone company charges for dedicated lines are also debited to the appropriate accounts. After the charges are posted, the credit card transactions are sent to the bank electronically, and an e-mail notice is sent to each customer. The e-mail statement tells you what the current charges are for your account. If you pay by credit card, the e-mail tells you what we charged to your card. If you pay by cash or check, it gives you the amount of the charges and of your remaining credit. If you owe money, you will see a positive balance.
